PERU SAN IGNACIO

Product description

Grown in the high mountains of San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Peru, this washed lot showcases the clarity and balance that have made the region one of Peru’s most respected coffee origins. Cool mountain temperatures and high elevations allow the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, developing vibrant sweetness and a refined, elegant cup profile.

Produced by Jenny Aracely Carhuapoma at Finca El Cautivo, the coffee is cultivated on a small family farm alongside shade trees using traditional farming practices. Carefully hand-picked cherries are fully washed and sun-dried on raised beds, preserving the coffee’s clean structure and expressive character.

In the cup, expect lively notes of red apple, orange, and milk chocolate. Bright citrus acidity is complemented by caramel-like sweetness and a silky body, finishing crisp, clean, and remarkably refreshing. Its balanced profile makes it approachable for everyday drinking while offering enough complexity for coffee enthusiasts.
