The Magis Voido Chair looks almost as though it has been carved from one continuous volume. Designed by Ron Arad, its exaggerated curves flow from the backrest through the seat and into the base, giving the chair a sculptural quality that is instantly recognizable.

The hollow space beneath the seat is an important part of that silhouette. It visually removes weight from the center of the chair, creating the contrast between solid volume and empty space that gives Voido its name and much of its personality.

Made from rotational-moulded polyethylene, the chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Put one in a minimal living room and it behaves almost like a piece of contemporary sculpture; move it outside to a terrace, patio, or poolside area and its bold form feels equally natural.
