Product description
Golden Hour comes from Bitta Farm in Ethiopia's forested Kaffa region, an area deeply connected to the origins and extraordinary diversity of Arabica coffee. Set among the mountainous forests of southwestern Ethiopia, Bitta Farm spans approximately 445 hectares at elevations of 1,900-2,050 metres above sea level.
Farm owner and manager Asmamaw Wodemariam oversees the coffee from cultivation through processing. Here, the indigenous Wolisho variety grows in clay loam soils before ripe cherries are carefully selected and fully washed. After pulping, the coffee is fermented for approximately 24-48 hours, washed with clean water and slowly dried on raised African beds.
