Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Huub Ubbens, the Artemide Castore Floor Lamp is characterized by its elegant spherical diffuser and tapered luminous stem. The transition between the glowing diffuser and the supporting structure creates a soft, seamless visual effect while providing comfortable diffused illumination. Its understated form makes Castore ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, reading areas, and contemporary lounge spaces.

A spherical-shaped diffuser hand-blown in opaque white glass is enhanced by a removable tapering stem which emits a soft glow. The stem is made of steel with tubing covered in polycarbonate sleeve.
